Finding a Purpose in Life

"I don't know what to do, what I like, what my future career would be, and I only have less and less time!" Is this you? Struggling to figure out what you want to do in life, what your purpose for life is?

Well, good news, I have a few methods that might help. Why waste any more time than we already have...

Expand

In order to find what we want to we need to try. If we're in our rooms watching videos about random stuff, we find on the internet than we won't ever experience what it feels like to do it.

It's like watching someone you don't know win a competition, you don't really feel like it's a win for you unless maybe it was your friend.

I'm not asking you to join clubs or go out and join coemptions... Look around your room. We all have that object that we haven't touched or played with in years or at all. Pick it up and see the possibilities you can do with it.

After all, money was used on that (or not but chances are) so don't let it go to waste. It may even be fun. But what is playing with a small toy going to do for me? Well...

Practice

I don't think practice is the right word for this but trying new things can give you an idea of what you may like. Let's say that you're learning to play an instrument and you really like it, it could be a sign that you like music in general.

Practicing with these toys or new things you've never given a chance, even in your own room, can allow you to figure out general categories t

hat you enjoy and want to do in the future.

But why use a toy to show this? Isn't a toy too small and a bit overexaggerated?

The Purpose (Pun Intended)

Let's say someone gave you a hug when you were crying or upset or maybe allowed you to rant to them, helped you when you were struggling. How would that make you feel?

Pretty good right? Even if not, I don't see how it could be a wrong. These small acts helped you feel better and so would trying out the small toys.

Small acts can- as I said- help you figure out what you like and this can lead to your own created motivation to join the clubs, find coemptions and participate more in them.

Finding something you enjoy should be a main big goal for your future and it all starts with figuring out what you like, once you do that it's easier than you think to try and want to do more things like it!

So, play with that chess set you've never played with, play that game you've never played, pick up that guitar and have fun! And the best part, you'll suck at it! But there are no expectations, no standards just you having fun so go crazy and try to figure out a way to enjoy it as much as possible!

Small acts, whether that's being kind, trying new things, or even helping someone else in just one small act can give them or yourself huge motivation and respect for others or yourself. So, start small and see what happens.
